Jakarta, 26 Agustus 2021 — On 7 April 7 2021, the NDRC (National Dispute Resolution Chamber) Indonesia has issued NDRC DECISION NUMBER: 016/NDRC/III/2021 to 032/NDRC/III/2021 which decided that PSM Makassar club must pay the salary arrears to 17 ( seventeen) professional PSM Makassar football players with total arrears of Rp 5,322,579,338 (Five Billion Three Hundred Twenty Two Million Five Hundred Seventy Nine Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Eight Rupiah)

In the decision, NDRC Indonesia gave no later than 45 days (after the decision was submitted) for PSM Makassar Club to implement the decision: to make payments to 17 PSM Makassar players, for the amount mentioned above. Based on this decision, after 2 months from the due date, today, on 26 August 2021, based on the information we received from our 17 members, PSM Makassar Club has finally paid off the arrears.

APPI really appreciates Pekanbaru PSM Makassar Club for this settlement, which has complied with the NDRC Decision Number: 016/NDRC/III/2021 to 032/NDRC/III/2021.

For the settlement of the arrears, APPI has received a confirmation letter from the Makassar PSM Club and has conveyed to PSSI, PT LIB and NDRC Indonesia that a payment has been made so that the Makassar PSM Club can register players and join the 2021/2022 League 1 competition which planned is to start on August 27, 2021.

Makassar PSM Club has also settled arrears to 2 (two) other local players who are still in the process of settling between APPI and Makassar PSM Club (the application has not been submitted to NDRC Indonesia), so the total arrears of local players that have been resolved are 19 (nineteen) players.

Sriwijaya FC

After 5 months from the due date, on 25 August 2021, based on the letter we received from the management and confirmation from the footballers, SRIWIJAYA FC Club has finally complied with the NDRC’s decision with the number mentioned above.

Through this press release, APPI would like to inform that currently APPI as a representative of those 2 Sriwijaya FC players, is  still in the appeal process of the NDRC decision mentioned. However, APPI confirms that the NDRC decision has been implemented by SRIWIJAYA FC Club and expresses its appreciation to the SRIWIJAYA FC Management who has completed its obligations to our members.
